Teams work together to prepare and serve food orders in increasingly chaotic kitchen environments, coordinating tasks like chopping, cooking, plating, and dishwashing under time pressure. Levels feature dynamic obstacles such as moving floors, portals, fires, and shifting layouts that complicate coordination. The sequel to Overcooked introduces a throwing mechanic for tossing ingredients across the kitchen and adds online multiplayer alongside local co-op.

Storyline

In the Onion Kingdom, a culinary crisis unfolds as hordes of zombie toast, known as the Unbread, rise and threaten the land.
